The Manipur NH-37 bypass road to Imphal from Reangpang is halt and disconnect due to the landslide between Reangpang and Taodaijang Village. All the passenger and private vehicles plying through this road is halt due to the landslide. The road connecting from Reangpang to Imphal is a lifeline road for the commuter and the villagers. Although the road seems to be little narrow as compare to the NH-37 road passing through Noney District. However, these roads could save an hour to reach Imphal and that is why many prefers to take the route of bypass especially the private vehicle and passengers vehicle. Many parts of the road at NH-37 in Manipur are affected by the landslide due to the monsoon that could last long. The local villager and the commuter are facing a crucial tough time to travel even by barefoot and pass through the road as the half portion of the road is carried away by the landslide. The villager and the commuter had to make an alternative arrangement by Bamboo ladder to cross the road for ration. There is no such arrangement from the government of Manipur to look into the matter and rebuild again the road for the ease of commuter. Through this news, may the government take up the initiative measures to rebuild the road as early as possible. Details awaited from the government of Manipur.
